Campaign Statement on Donations
I believe leadership should stand on principle, not on the financial backing of special interests or political machines.
For that reason, I do not accept campaign donations. When a candidate runs on other people’s money, it inevitably creates expectations and obligations that can compromise independence. I am running to represent the people of this district, not interest of the largest donors.
Californians are already overtaxed, and families across our community are working hard just to get by. I would much rather see your hard-earned dollars stay in your household. support your business, or strengthen our local economy, rather than be redirected into a political campaign.
If you feel compelled to give, I encourage you to donate to one of the many outstanding nonprofit organizations serving our community. They are on the front lines, feeding families, supporting veterans, assisting victims, mentoring youth, saving animals, and providing direct services that truly make a difference.
This campaign is about principle and transparency, not fundraising totals.
